Our Prelate
Born in the small, historic town of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Willie Moore finished high school and subsequently joined the United States Marine Corps in 1973. Starting at the rank of Private and as an aviation mechanic, he enjoyed a long and colorful career while serving in various military occupational specialties and overseas commands.
Major Willie Moore successfully served 27 years of faithful service in the United States Marine Corps. Having earned promotions in the senior enlisted and officer ranks, he retired with honors on June 30, 2000.
In 1974, Willie Moore gave his life to the Lord while attending a Spirit-filled service at the Wayside Church of Deliverance in Clinton, Mississippi. From that moment on, his life changed completely.
In 1976, he was called into the ministry by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And in July of 1978, he was licensed as a minister by Pastor Lorenzo Stephanson on the island of Okinawa, Japan. Since that time he has served in virtually every capacity of church ministry, including 16 years as an assistant pastor at True Bible Ministries. His devotion to God and the Church has prepared him to accept and do the work of his new calling: To Shepherd the flock of God. In January 2000 he founded and established the Voices of Victory Christian Ministry.
Pastor Willie Moore completed his bachelor’s degree in business administration and his master’s degree in business management. Both degrees were completed with honors and, subsequently, he was inducted into the Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society in Business, Management, and Administration. He has served as an instructor for Foundation College in Mission Valley, San Diego, California, where he taught computer software applications. He is currently employed as a lead technology specialist with the Grossmont Union High School District in La Mesa, California. Moreover, he has developed and designed a number of active web sites for church ministries, including Voices of Victory Christian Ministry.
Moreover, Pastor Moore founded and chairs the Men Helping Men Fellowship. This fellowship comprises men from various denominations and walks of life, all coming together to share their experiences – spiritually and professionally – and promote righteousness and the best interest of the public.
Bishop Moore also heads a 12-church fellowship in San Diego, CA, which meets on the 3rd Sunday of each month. As the Lord would have it, these churches have all come together to form a national covenant fellowship under Bishop Moore’s leadership.
Working tirelessly to meet the needs of the poor, Bishop Moore established the national fellowship as an agency of Feeding America San Diego and founded a food distribution center in East County (El Cajon) where families are provided with nutritious foods throughout the month.
Dr. Willie Moore received his Doctorate of Philosophy in Theology and consecrated to the office of Bishop at the Grace Theological Seminary in Lubbock, Texas. He was also awarded an honorary Doctorate of Divinity.
Under the guidance and leadership of the Holy Spirit, Bishop Moore loves, teaches and leads God’s people in a victorious way, always putting God first in all that he does. He is a dynamic and powerful preacher and teacher of the Word!
Bishop Willie Moore is married to the former Joyce Burns of Vicksburg, Mississippi. They have two children: a son, Willie Jr. and a daughter, Kimberly. They have two children: a son, Willie Jr. and a daughter, Kimberly. They are blessed with three wonderful grandchildren: Tiani, Isaiah and Willie Moore III.
